Mother of 2, author, cyclist, cook, a dash of crazy, into local foods, gardening, beekeeper, REAL food, Living a happy, healthy, spiritual, loving, sustainable, mindful life. Oh, and I have backyard chickens!
My knowledge and training of food started at a very young age. Before I could go play with the neighborhood kids, I needed to harvest what was in season. We grew food, we preserved food and naturally ate locally. Growing up with these rituals has shaped who I am. I see it as one of the greatest gifts my mother taught me.
I received more of a formal training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I was trained in more than one hundred dietary theories and studied a variety of practical lifestyle coaching methods. Drawing on this knowledge, I will help you create a completely personalized “roadmap to health” that suits your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals.
I am passionate about my community and strongly believe that in order to thrive in life, you need to be part of a community. I am the founder of Eat Right Racine and chair of Empty Bowls Racine. Get involved in your community, find your tribe.
