My whole family did the 5 Day Detox (but continued through the weekend for a total of 7 days) and it was nothing short of life changing! I thought we ate pretty healthy before we started, but WOW, did this open my eyes! Not only did such clean eating make us all feel more vital, but we noticed a huge increase in my 11-year-old daughter’s ability to concentrate. She has severe ADHD. Halfway through the detox, she was marveling at how she could focus and do more than one thing at a time and get all of them complete. She also said she noticed she didn’t feel so “foggy in the head.” My husband lost 12 pounds, and ended a 3-POT a day addiction to coffee. My 14 year old daughter lost close to 5 pounds and noticed a huge difference in her attitude and overall feeling of well-being. I am a breast cancer survivor who hasn’t had a menstrual cycle in 3 years (since chemo.) On the 5th day of this detox, my body reset so much that I started my period! The kids are fighting less, we feel more energetic and life is just brighter, in general… food REALLY does change EVERYTHING! We have stayed gluten-free and adopted a much cleaner way of eating (reintroducing only minimal dairy and avoiding all non-organic processed foods) and all of us feel amazing. Thank you Heidi!

This was truly an amazing week for me. I know that I really didn’t participate in the forums (although I did read posts) and had a hard time with the phone calls (I was able to listen to the one on Wednesday), but even still, I amazed myself with how great I felt just by cutting all the non-healthy food out of my diet. My hardest part was definitely the cheese and the bread. I thought that I would have difficulty with the refined sugars and soda (but those weren’t as much of cravings for me as the cheese/dairy and bread). I think there are so many aspects of this type of diet that I will be putting into practice in the future. I mean even over the last two days when I’ve been “off” the diet, I haven’t had things that were too bad. I’ve really only had one small cube of Feta cheese and some bread. I even saved a peanut nut cluster to have as a reward for completing the 5 days and I’ve yet to eat it. It’s amazing how if you put in place of items that you craved other items, how you start craving the stuff that’s actually good for you. I’ve come up with some great new “favorites” as far as meals and am very excited just because I feel really good. Anyway, thank you so much. I will continue to work toward a healthier way of eating for myself and my family and this was definitely the jump start I needed.
PS I loved hearing the stories of everyone on Wednesday night’s call. It’s truly amazing how powerful food can be in our lives!!

I did the 5 day Detox Re-set with one goal in mind, to eliminate artificial sweeteners which were too large of a part of my diet. I did that with relative ease, but got so much more out of the program. I became much more mindful of the foods I put in my body. I became acutely aware of how often I reached for a bag of chips while sitting at my pc because I wasn’t allowed to do it on the program. Instead I assessed whether I was truly hungry and then reached for something much more healthful like an apple or raw carrots. Smoothies becams a daily ritual that I enjoyed. I have kept up these healthy habits. I no longer reach for artificial sweeteners and when I do reach out for some chips, it is in a limited quantity and I take the time to enjoy them fully. I highly recommend this program. Heidi’s assistance was awesome!

This detox was very necessary and very overdue. My sytem is still trying to figure out what just happened! I feel better than I have in years. It’s been great breaking the coffee/Diet Coke habit. I’m so much more aware of all of the packaged junk I ate just because it was easy. I have a lot of bad habits to break, and this past week was just the jump start I needed to get me going. The ONLY negative is how much longer it takes me to grocery shop…. I’m in there at least twice as long since I’m reading the ingredients in everything. I learned a lot this past week that I (and my family) will benefit from for years to come.

My experience with Heidi’s Detox was fabulous! As a fairly good eater, I serve my family mostly organic and whole foods so I wasn’t sure how much the detox would affect me. However, I was shocked at how different and amazing I felt! I lost 4 pounds and realized I have a sensitivity to gluten! After removing it for only 5 days I was less bloated and felt so much lighter! I love to cook and experiment in the kitchen and with Heidi’s recipes I used ingredients in a different way! For example left over brown rice makes a great hot cereal in the morning with apples and walnuts! It actually saved me a lot of time! I would absolutely do it again and have really implemented a life style change! Thanks Heidi!!

I did the 5 day simple detox with Heidi. My week was really good. I felt happy and fresh. I slept like a baby and I bragged all week about how I was able to pass up all my “favorite” things. I was amazed how easy it was — once I had a plan, I stuck to it. I was never hungry. I did not crave sweets like I used to. I have a feeling this will change my way of thinking and eating.
